George Galloway slips his secular moorings:

He does a good line in ‘martyrdom’ talk too:
Galloway also expressed his gratefulness to the people of the Bethnal Green & Bow constituency, particularly to those young people who “gave their blood” for him. “I am grateful to them,” he said.
The Trots who worked so hard to have him elected must be spitting tacks at that sort of talk. What a shame they can’t say anything in public for fear of being exposed as credulous dipsticks.
