Bloggers Imprisoned in Iran

Reporters Without Borders reports that five bloggers have been arrested in Iran since the beginning of October.

“At the same time, an Iranian delegate is sitting on a UN-created working group on Internet governance. The international community should condemn this masquerade.”

Here are their names and sites.

Dariush;
Omid;
Payvand;
Mojtaba Saminejad (who was arrested at the beginning of November for speaking out against the arrest of his three colleagues in his blog); and
Farid Modaressi

Six non-blogging cyber-journalists have also been imprisoned. Their names are Hamed Motaghi, Mahboubeh Abbasgholizadeh, Fershteh Ghazi, Javad Gholam Tamayomi, Omid Memarian and Shahram Rafihzadeh.
