Apparantly the Conservative Party feel their conference need only devote thirteen hours to policy debate this year.
The Tories justified their timetable on the grounds that it will allow time for their leader to attend media events outside the conference hall. But the Campaign for Conservative Democracy said the lack of activity at the conference suggested the Tories could be in “terminal decline”.
