Just a quick technical question that maybe somebody who blogs can help with.
The Sitemeter referrals software appears only to pick up hits when they come directly onto the main page of the site. When someone clicks on a link to a specific story (most of the time) it doesn’t register unless they then click to the main site.
This wasn’t the case when I had a blogspot site and I have also noticed that since I switched to Movable Type, click throughs from Google are not registering either.
Is there something I need to do with Sitemeter or should I switch to another software?
Any suggestions?
