The Sunday Telegraph reports:
Howard Jacobson and the £500 Question
Howard Jacobson may be an unlikely seducer, but the novelist has lured one reader into paying to be taken to bed by him.
Michael Ezra, a fund manager, paid £500 at an auction for Index on Censorship to have a character with his name take part in a sex scene in the next work by the Booker Prize-winning author of The Finkler Question.
“I’m hoping it won’t be an outrageous, perverted scene,” says Ezra, somewhat nervously. “He told me he wanted to have a good look at me.”
