This clip from Wednesday’s Republican presidential debate is worth watching for Donald Trump’s remarkable facial expressions alone, but what’s really noteworthy is the huge round of applause that Jeb Bush got for saying: “As relates to my brother [George W. Bush], there’s one thing I know for sure: he kept us safe.”
The most obvious problem with this is that George W. Bush did not become president on September 12, 2001. He became president on January 20, 2001.
