This report in the Jewish Chronicle caught my eye:
Concerns about the campaign group linked to Islamic State terrorist Mohammed Emwazi were raised with a prominent charity by the Community Security Trust two years ago.
CST alerted the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust (JRCT) to antisemitic material on the website of Cage in July 2013.
JRCT was a leading funder of Cage’s work at the time, giving the group more than £300,000.
The Jewish group warned JRCT about Cage’s attitude to antisemitism, links to Abu Qatada, and articles on the Cage website which claimed the September 11 attacks in New York were an insurance scam organised by a Zionist billionaire.
Actually Cage’s record bursts with 9/11 troofery. It’s a natural move for a terrorist support group – shift blame in a way that will only increase anger amongst its fellow extremists.

The authors of the articles Cage so likes include Paul Craig Roberts, an old right American crank who has claimed the Charlie Hebdo massacre was a “false flag” operation; completely loopy Kevin Barrett; weird Canadian professor John McMurty; British troofer Rowland Morgan; and Michael Meacher.
Notorious antisemite Mahathir Mohamad shows up too, at a conference attended by Cage figurehead Moazzam Begg.
Dr Mahathir said that the odd thing about 9/11 was that all 3 buildings collapsed rapidly straight down, as if they had explosives already inserted in certain places, and not from the effect of the aircraft hitting them, but due to a demolition method. He wondered why the 3rd building collapsed in the same way (WTC7) although it was not hit by any aircraft. The collapse of this building had been admitted by its jewish owner, as a controlled demolition when he said “we pulled it.”
Don’t forget Cage hero Anwar al-Awlaki’s own response to 9/11, just days after the atrocities. He appeared on hate preacher Yusuf al-Qaradawi’s website IslamOnline on 17 September and was asked this question by a forum reader:
I have a difficult time to believe this had been done by Muslims.
Just a week earlier, 1000 Non Government organizations, including the Human Rights Watch, had declared Israel to be racist and apartheit state and were pursing ways to rally support against Isreal, all over the world!
This attack on America has diverted everyone’s attention to the degree that Israel was able to immediately launch unprecedented attacks on Palestinians.
Obviously, the only entity that benefitted from the attach has been Israel. The timing, like that of other terrorist actions, was such that only Israel was benefitted.
What do you think about the possibility of involvement by Israeli Mossad?

Add to that the fact that there has been an uprising in Palestine that was becoming very popular while the popularity of the Israeli response was plummeting. Israel was going through a serious PR crisis. Israel has even hired U.S. public relations firms to try to clean up its reputation and Ariel Sharon’s damaged image.Also there were lawsuits filed against the war criminal Ariel Sharon in Belgium. That was a serious blow to Israel to have its highest official in such a position.
Now doesn’t the timing of the attacks raise a question mark???

Turning back to the Rowntree Trust, the CST didn’t get very far:
The trust’s initial response to CST accused the Jewish security group of “unfairly associating Cageprisoners with extreme antisemitism” and said a number of offensive articles on Cage’s website had been removed.
JRCT said that it was “proud to support Cageprisoners” in its “important work”.
CST responded by telling JRCT secretary Nick Parks that his trust was paying “for the promotion of a one-dimensional victimhood narrative that fuels resentment, anger and alienation amongst young British Muslims.
“JRCT’s money pays for Cageprisoners to depict men like Abu Qatada and Anwar al-Awlaki as tragic semi-heroic victims, with human rights concerns being the seductive hook for hanging the victimhood narrative upon.”
There was no further response from JRCT to the concerns raised by CST.
