Liz Wahl of RT America refuses to be a part of the Russian propaganda apparatus any longer.
This comes after RT anchor Abby Martin denounced on-air Russia’s aggression in Crimea and said she had no intention of going to Crimea, despite the station’s announcement that it was sending her there.
This doesn’t make either of them heroes, and Martin has some pretty ugly baggage.
Still, it’s hard not to relish the heartburn this must be inducing at the upper levels of Vladimir Putin’s propaganda machine.
Don’t worry, Vlad; I’m sure George Galloway will loyally parrot the Russian line as long as you keep paying him. Hell, I’ll bet he’ll even go to Crimea.
