It turns out that Saudi preacher Adel al-Kalbani will not be touring the UK:
A former imam of the Grand Mosque in Makkah was stopped from traveling to Britain as he boarded his plane in Riyadh bound for London on Wednesday.
Sheikh Adel Al-Kalbani had performed the noon and afternoon prayers together just before the boarding announcement at King Khaled International Airport’s departure terminal.
“I was stopped at the door of the plane and told that the authorities received a message from the British Embassy saying that I was not allowed to enter Britain,” Al-Kalbani told Arab News.
He’s not the only one disappointed by the news. In a tirade including a swipe at “Leftist dhimmi hate site Harry’s Place”, Robert Spencer insists al-Kalbani would be let into this craven country:
From that, one must conclude that the British authorities are fine with people thinking that Islam has a doctrine of warfare against unbelievers, as long as one does not oppose that doctrine as Geller and I do, but instead believes in it and preaches it.
Aw shucks, so sorry Robert.
Now if you will excuse me I must go and wipe away my floods of dhimmi tears for Brother Adel.
