Trade Union Friends of Israel (and we need to remember that they exist) have issued a brochure about the Israeli labor federation the Histadrut.

Much of the content– about the Histadrut’s frequent challenges to the Israeli government, its large Arab membership, its support for contract workers, its cooperation with Palestinian trade unionists– will be familiar to Harry’s Place readers.
Unfortunately some trade unionists seem to have decided that the Histadrut is as irrevocably depraved as– they believe– everything else associated with Israel. Presumably there are many others with more open minds. If you know of any, please forward this to them.
