If you’re looking for a silver lining to the electoral catastrophe in Bradford West, consider that as an MP, George Galloway will once again need to make public his sources of outside income and the funders of his overseas travel.
One of those funders is Viva Palestina, which as a registered charity is required to report its income and spending to the UK Charity Commission. As of today, those accounts are 305 days overdue.
If the Charity Commission weren’t so lazy and/or incompetent and/or timorous, perhaps we could finally learn the source of the cash Galloway handed to Hamas in Gaza:
