I can only assume that this ad by Texas Gov. and presidential candidate Rick Perry is a sign of his desperation as his chances of winning the Republican nomination fade to near zero after a series of debate mishaps.
In the course of 30 seconds, Perry manages to disrespect gays serving their country in the military while accusing President Obama of conducting a “war on religion.”
I’m not sure what the evidence is for this, but you can watch Obama at the lighting of the National Christmas Tree (starting at about 3:30) and decide for yourself.
