It was only last month that News Line, published by the the bizarre Workers Revolutionary Party, called on British workers to “support the Libyan people, and to be for the victory of Gadaffi. UK workers must make their contribution to the struggle. This must be a general strike to bring down the coalition and bring in a workers government.”
While they were at it, the WRP should have called on the workers and peasants of Brooklyn to take up arms on behalf of Comrade Gaddafi. That might have made the difference.
