Some members of the the Green party of England and Wales have launched a website to oppose their party’s position favoring a boycott of and divestment from Israel.
They write:
We stand against this aspect of Green Party policy because it is the opposite of green and because it enacts an inconsistent approach to foreign policy which does not befit the country’s fourth largest political party. We seek to refute it with examples of Israel’s contribution to environmentally-friendly technologies and ways of living, and through a critique of the dominant discourse about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
