Channel Four newsreader Jon Snow has declared he won’t wear a remembrance poppy while reading the news.
He explained: There is a rather unpleasant breed of poppy fascism out there
Perhaps not the best choice of words to use for a symbol that partially commemorates those on the allied side who died between 1939 and 1945.
