On National Public Radio’s “Fresh Air” program, Terry Gross interviewed Michael Wex, author of Born to Kvetch: Yiddish Language and Culture in All of Its Moods.
At the beginning of the interview, Wex tells a joke that was one of my mother’s favorites. Since my mother is no longer alive to tell jokes, it was good to hear it again.
