Marx Myths

This looks interesting:

The idea is to invite scholars to write essays on individual Marx Legends – either a “marxist” legend, a “simple socialism” myth, or an out-and-out anti-communist slander – and bring them together, initially publishing them free to the public domain at http://marxmyths.org. Typical subjects might be “Marx and socialist utopianism,” “Marx and economic determinism,” “Marx and state control” etc. This project is to look at Karl Marx alone – not Engels or Lenin, or socialism in general. The purpose is both to help to dispel the multiple layers of interpretation and misrepresentation that obscure Marx’s work, and to encourage a critical approach to the reading of Marx, rather than trying to create some new kind of orthodoxy.

They also have a blog related to the project.

One for a leisurely browse around Easter weekend.
