I know Norm Geras is an Emmylou Harris fan, so in a display of faultless logic, I’ll assume that all the other readers of Harry’s Place are too. Or at least they should be.
Her latest CD, Stumble into Grace, would be worth buying just for the beautiful photos of Emmylou and her gorgeous grey hair. But the songs are mostly wonderful too, including “Strong Hand,” a tribute to the late June Carter Cash, and “Time in Babylon,” a sardonic take on contemporary capitalist culture. Guaranteed to get a good libertarian’s blood boiling.
Which makes me wonder. Can any of our libertarian readers provide a list of their all-time favorite libertarian-themed songs? You know, the aural equivalents of Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead. Is there such a thing?
