Republicans should not take too much comfort in Arnold Schwarzenegger’s victory Tuesday. What it indicates more than anything else is a frustration about the economy and an anti-incumbent fervor that could still be around next year when President Bush and the Republicans in Congress come before the voters.
Shouting catch-phrases from his movies to cheering crowds must have been a lot of fun for Arnold, but now comes the hard part.
