Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell, opposing President Obama’s proposal to continue Bush-era tax cuts for all Americans except the two percent or so who earn more than $250,000 a year, writes that these two percent are “the people who’ve been hit hardest by this recession.”
Update: According to a spokesman for McConnell, he meant the opposite of what he said. Or something.
