Calling the death of the man responsible for murdering thousands a “tragedy,” Jeremy Corbyn wonders why no effort was made to arrest Osama bin Laden and put him on trial.

I think Corbyn has a point. He should have accompanied the Navy SEALS who carried out the raid on bin Laden’s compound in Pakistan. They could have sent him in first with a pair of handcuffs to see if he could talk bin Laden into going quietly to the International Criminal Court in the Hague. If that didn’t work, they could have then proceeded with their mission.
