When I said this is how Russia was thinking over a month ago, many sneered. I really hope more people are now realising what drove Putin all along and where this is going. We do not want to be caught unaware and paralysed by wishful thinking. This is not bluster. This is not Western-media-style “clickbait” and “sensation”. The Russian State does not behave the way our states in the West behave. It isn’t a game they play for clicks and LOLs. They’re focussed and serious, albeit in their dangerous delusions.
Meanwhile on Russian state TV: host Vladimir Solovyov threatens Europe and all NATO countries, asking whether they will have enough weapons and people to defend themselves once Russia's "special operation" in Ukraine comes to an end.
