Although it has got a lot more attention than usual due to its location and the number of people killed, Monday’s murderous rampage at a Navy facility in Washington, DC, should be seen in the larger context of a depressingly long list of mass shootings in the US in recent years.
And that list only includes shootings with multiple deaths. There have been many other incidents in which several were wounded but, fortunately, no one was killed.
