A mixture of the welcome and resignedly unwelcome news regarding MPs’ salaries an expenses. Although I find James Bloodworth at Leftfoot Forward over-earnest at times, I cannot fail to disagree with him less on reasons against a £6,000 on MPs’ salaries.
Then there is another of the very few MPs whose egregious expenses claims has led to forced resignation or criminal charges. Regardless of sympathies regulars at this blog may have had for Macshane’s work combating antisemitism, what he did here was deceit.
