The Morning Star is a newspaper, associated with the Stalinist Communist Party of Britain.
It has had certain financial difficulties: the USSR used to subsidise it by buying several thousand copies. Now that its source of funding has dried up, it needs to appeal to its members.
Here is that appeal for funds, on the website of the far Left blog, Socialist Unity, posted by the Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign activist, racist, soft porn author and male model, John Wight.
And here is a rather disturbing tweet from the socialist journalist and writer, David Osler:

It really is quite remarkable. But given the nature of the Morning Star, not wholly surprising.
