On 23rd May, Amnesty International is scheduled to host an event organised by MEMO and PSC entitled “Complicity in Oppression: Do the Media Aid Israel?” in its Human Rights Action Centre (New Inn Yard, London EC2A 3EA). This strikes me as a question for John Rentoul. Although I am sure most readers already know a good deal about the activities of MEMO and the PSC, you can read more about why Amnesty should not be hosting this event here. I’ve still had no response to the last plaintive email I sent Amnesty – but I will have another go – and urge readers (particularly if they are (still) members) to do the same.
