Padiham, near Burnley, will be the first UK town to have a BNP mayor. He was not elected by the citizens of Padiham, but by the council on the basis of “seniority”. His wife is also a BNP councilor.
Shockingly – almost unbelievably – reports suggest that Labour councilors did not object or put up a fight to stop this obscenity.
