The last time the Holocaust-denying historian David Irving did a speaking tour in the US, appearing at locations that were undisclosed until the last moment, a knife fight broke out between two of his neo-Nazi fans in Palm Beach County, Florida.
Well, Irving is on the road again in the States, although he seems to be taking a break until April, judging from his schedule as posted on an anti-fascist website:

Judging from a Wikileaks release of Irving’s email in regard to his 2009 tour, he made an effort to identify Jewish ticket-buyers, as you can read at Adam Holland’s comprehensive and excellent post on David Irving in the USA.
In a 2007 interview about his book on Himmler, Irving seems to find a lot to admire about the guy, while saying he (and not Hitler) was ultimately responsible for what Irving doesn’t like to call the Holocaust– and in fact concealed it from Hitler. He suggests Himmler was not antisemitic before the war, but was driven to the mass murder of Jews by the Allied bombing of Germany.
