I have to say I am a bit lost as to what Ed Miliband’s point is. Ken Clarke makes an eminently sensible point that the Tory/Whig Coalition will start to creak when spending cuts start to squeeze the middle so I think, great, something for Labour to run with… look, even die-in-the-wool Tories agree they are going to be disastrous.
Instead, Miliminor delivers a slapdown. Middle-class parents know this already because of protests against library closures and school cuts.
The only sight more inexplicable is seeing John Prescott on some trashy insurance advert.
