Not sure why the BBC decided to invite the former MP on to Question Time this evening other than the fact that the Iraq-related inquiry was on the agenda and the slimeball is always seen as a good soundbite on Iraq.
But to save you the trouble of going to Iplayer and watching it (although Alastair Campbell did a good job all night) the short version is: George Galloway is still an arsehole.
Campbell did produce the “Sir, I salute your….” quote and was applauded by the audience for doing so.
Galloway surely knows that when his time comes, every newspaper obituary written about him will mention the moment he crawled up to Saddam.
