The Paxman Hitchens interview

We’re having a bit of a Christopher Hitchens weeks. Always a good thing. We had the Hitchens and Tony Blair debate up earlier. And on Monday the BBC aired its interview of Hitchens by Jeremy Paxman on BBC Two’s Newsnight. It is well worth a watch — I really enjoyed this. It is on BBC iPlayer or you can watching it on the BBC Newsnight website.

But as the videos have also gone live on YouTube it would be rude not to share them here. Hitchens talks openly about his cancer and how he is “resisting it”; his writing and, of course, his politics; about how he still feels connected to the Labour Party; and about Iraq and how his views have not changed regarding intervention and the removal of Saddam Hussein.

Enjoy.
