Check out the genuinely dark and disturbing opening sequence to last night’s episode of “The Simpsons,” created by the British street artist Banksy.
In fact most of “The Simpsons” animation grunt work is done in South Korea– under less dreadful conditions, I hope. I have no idea where “Simpsons” merchandise is manufactured, but again I hope the workers involved are employed under more decent circumstances.
Of course no one should kid themselves that all the cheap merchandise reaching Europe and North America from foreign shores is produced under humane conditions.
