Yesterday, we had the volunteer at an interfaith project, who committed a vicious assault on a Muslim taxi driver.
Today, we have this:
Three Canadians arrested in an alleged terrorist conspiracy had bomb parts and plans and posed a “real and serious threat”, Canadian police have said.
The trio, arrested this week, were charged with supporting terrorism.
Hiva Alizadeh and Misbahuddin Ahmed were jailed following a court appearance on Thursday.
Also arrested was Khurram Sher, who according to the Toronto Star newspaper sang and danced in an audition for the Canadian Idol television programme.
Things are getting complicated:
We should also mention the terribly sad story of the former hip hop executive Yoseph Robinson ז״ל, who had converted to Orthodox Judaism, and who was murdered this week at a kosher liquor store where he worked, while trying to protect his girlfriend during an attempted robbery:
At the age of 16 he dropped out of school, became involved in drug dealing, street crime, and violence, yet at the time he was 23 years old, Robinson turned to Judaism.
According to his website, Yoseph was active in bridging the gap between local Jews and African Americans and frequently spoke about his experiences as a black, Jewish man at local synagogues.
He was only 34.
