Mehmet Kaya, the Turkish charity IHH’s representative in Gaza, does not mince his words:
“We only work through Hamas, although we don’t limit our aid to its followers,” he said. “We consider Israel and the United Nations to be the terrorists, not Hamas.”
Nice.
It is illegal to raise funds for Hamas in the UK. That did not stop Viva Palestina, George Galloway’s Hamas support group, and others from helping IHH to collect money for its thugs’ cruise to Gaza. In the case of Hamas, the UK simply refuses to enforce its own laws.
By the way, here is a grotesque angle to the money story: the “ethical” people at the Co-operative Bank are Viva Palestina’s bankers.

For his part, the captain of the Mavi Marmara has provided yet more evidence that the IHH thugs were bent on violence. He tried to stop them, to no avail.
IHH and Viva Palestina will try again in September. One of the next fundraisers will be held at the East London Mosque’s London Muslim Centre. The event is backed the Islamic Forum of Europe.
So, if you love Hamas, hate Jews, and enjoy violence, do make sure to back IHH and Viva Palestina.
If you don’t, you should treat the UK supporters of the thugs, including malevolent far left idiots of the kind to be found at “Socialist Unity”, like the BNP.
