After his innumerate article for The Telegraph was approvingly linked to by the BNP’s Lee John Barnes*, Darius Guppy has been set up as a contributor to New Statesman. Can one sense the hand of Mehdi Hasan in this?
I applaud the move. It will be nice to see Guppy earn some money honestly. And nowadays there is nothing surprising about the idea that the work of someone like Guppy will be appearing in the New Statesman.
