Breaking news from Associated Press:
PESHAWAR, Pakistan — A senior Pakistani official says 41 people have been killed in a bomb blast in the northwest city of Peshawar. Provincial Health Minister Syed Zahir Ali Shah says the explosion Friday also wounded more than 100 people.
The AP report also notes this troubling fact: “The attack in the Khyber Bazaar area demonstrated militants’ continuing ability to strike Pakistan’s major cities, despite military offensives pressuring their networks.”
Pakistan is suffering a 7/7-scale attack almost weekly.
