Norm suggests that despite the inclusion of the verb “to fisk” in the recent edition of the Collins English Dictionary, it is fading from use. It made me realise that there was a swathe of terms produced in the aftermath of the rise of blogging and 911 which rose, and then sunk, without their demise being noted. Off the top of my head warbloggers, keyboard warrors, moonbat, and cheese eating surrender monkeys come to mind, but feel free to remind us of what was once au courant.
