“Only in the Islamic Republic!” says Iranian blogger Azarmehr, in a rather disturbing post.
The executive summary is this:An Iranian professor repeatedly sexually harassed a female student. In order to report the abuse, she arranged with some friends to record the evidence on their mobile phones – which they did. When she reported the professor’s behavior, she and her friends were arrested instead because “exposing the sin” is a greater crime than the crime itself. The woman was additionally charged with “having an unlawful affair”.
