The Muslim Brotherhood – A Sinister Organisation

(This is a guest post by Mikey)

Recently David T wrote about the Muslim Brotherhood: a global movement which calls itself the Ikhwan. It has a simple credo:

Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. The Qur’an is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.

The Muslim Brotherhood has recently announced its plans to build an Islamic state on the Iranian model.

A number of important facts about the Muslim Brotherhood came to light in the Holy Land Foundation Trial last year in America. In an original document whose authenticity is unchallenged, the Muslim Brotherhood specified its objectives (p. 7, English translation, emphasis added):

The Ikhwan must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and “sabotaging” its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and Allah’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.

It is quite clear from that document that the Muslim Brotherhood wants to dominate Muslim organisations in America. The “strategic goal” is also stated explicitly (pp. 4-5):

  • Establishing an effective and stable Islamic Movement led by the Muslim Brotherhood.
  • Adopting Muslims’ causes domestic and globally.
  • Expanding the observant Muslim base.
  • Unifying and directing Muslims’ efforts.
  • Presenting Islam as a civilization alternative.
  • Supporting the establishment of the global Islamic State wherever it is.

The document also explains (p. 16) the need for a charitable body that will be an “Islamic Organization to Combat the Social Ills of the US Society.”

Another document in that trial was a transcript of an interview with Zeid al-Noman from the early 1980s. Noman explained that the Muslim Brotherhood’s strategy was to create front organisations “to communicate the Ikkwan’s thought… [and] point of view” (p. 12). These front organizations were many and varied, and were to take the form of professional organisations, include civil rights groups and educational institutes. All these diverse organisations would work together in order to achieve the goals of the Muslim Brotherhood. A list of “our organizations and the organizations of our friends” included the Islamic Housing Cooperative, The Association of Muslim Scientists and Engineers, International Institute for Islamic Thought, Muslim Businessmen Association, Islamic Information Center, etc. (p. 18). According to the FBI, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) was also linked to the Muslim Brotherhood.

No less chilling were Zeid al-Noman’s comments on “special work” and “securing the group” (p. 13):

“Special work” means military work. “Securing the Group” is the Group’s security against outside dangers. For instance, to monitor the suspicious movements… which exist on the American front such as Zionism, Masonry… etc. Monitoring the suspicious movements or the sides, the government bodies such as the CIA, FBI… etc., so that we find out if they are monitoring us, and we are not being monitored, how can we get rid of them.

Noman added that

here in America, there is weapons training in many of the Ikhwan’s camps.

He also spoke about weapons training (p. 16):

In some of the regions when they go to a camp, they take two things, they would request a camp which has a range, a shooting range and one which has a range to shoot, one which has a range which they use for shooting. You would find that in some of the camps.

These documents reveal the activities of the Muslim Brotherhood in America.

Is there any reason to doubt that Muslim Brotherhood fronts in the United Kingdom also share the organisation’s aim of “eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within”?
