A suicide bomber linked to Al Qaida has killed seven Spanish tourists and their guides in Yemen. According to The Times, “the road in the province of Marib was littered with body parts and charred vehicles from the huge blast, which was reportedly heard for miles.”
The people of Yemen and Spain must now asking whether they can stop these attacks if they end their respective occupations of Iraq.
Oh wait, Yemen never occupied Iraq, and the Spain withdrew their small contingent from Iraq more than three years ago… hmm, must be some other legitimate grievance. Any ideas? What advice can we offer to the governments of Yemen and Spain to placate the Islamists’ rightious anger?
