Apparently, Hackney is the worst place to live in the United Kingdom: according to Channel 4.
Well, I wouldn’t say it was the worst place to live. For a start, it isn’t south of the River.
There are many good things about Hackney that sensationalist journalists often ignore. For example, when that man was shot in my street, the bloodstains were cleaned away within 72 hours. An impressive standard of service, I’m sure you’d agree.
Anyhow, if you are so minded, you could help Mayor Jules Pipe in his campaign to alert Channel 4 to the fabulousness of Hackney, you could send this e-card to Channel 4 and “tell them why Hackney is a great place to live”.
