Happy fifth birthday to the ipod.
I’m on to my second now. The old white second generation one I bought in 2003 has a battery life which has degenerated so badly I’ve relegated it to the car where it gets a permanent charge.
Portable listening is now on the new titchy silver nano which has a 24 hour battery life and so much ergonomic appeal it’s difficult not to keep caressing it.
It’s worse than crack cocaine.
