There have been two extremely hopeful developments in the struggle to reverse the Israeli Government’s ban which prevents Palestinians studying in Israeli universities from entering Israel.
First, Engage reports that the rectors of all the universities in Israel have jointly called upon Defence Minister Peretz to cancel the ban.
Secondly, Haaretz reports that Education Minister Yuli Tamir and Culture Minister Ophir Pines-Paz have also demanded that the ban be rescinded.
