The sad news reaches me that Madeleine Bunting will be giving up the job of educating the Guardian’s readership on the true meaning of the Enlightenment and mbunderstanding Qaradawi and his suicide bombers.
On 4 September 2006 she will leave the Guardian to take up a new job as Director of the think tank Demos.
Goodbye Maddy. We will miss you.
