Votes on the quality of student ‘lifestyles’ in various geographical locations have now been counted, and the results are in:
The London School of Economics was named as the best in the UK, followed by King’s College London and the universities of Bath, Newcastle and Durham.
Glasgow came top in Scotland. Rival St. Andrews came ninth. A spokesman for the latter commented:
“We’re a small university and when you combine that with the fact we’re in the East Neuk of Fife, I suppose we’ve done well.
Perhaps a career in marketing should be crossed off his list.
