“Shoot them”

Galloway’s latest statement:

“Many Londoners, including Muslims, have been fearful that the government was encouraging the police to adopt a shoot to kill policy. Within hours of the latest London bombing attack we see the tragic result of such a policy.”

But who was encouraging a shoot-to-kill policy on Newsnight just over two weeks ago?

Gavin Esler: So what do we do – engage with them (the terrorists)?

Galloway: Yes; of course we lock them up….shoot them; do anything we can to stop them.
