Not a good day for Scotland. First, the fish are apparantly full of cancer-causing toxins.
Second, studying English in Scotland is not a good enough reason to obtain a temporary visa if you are Russian student. Immigration officials explained to one woman who wanted to do so that:
“You cannot satisfactorily explain why you have chosen to attend an English course in Scotland rather than your other options of Oxford or Cambridge, where you should face less difficulty understanding a regional accent.”
