Robert Mugabe sank further into self-parody yesterday when he accused Britain of using the internet to recolonise the third world.
Mugabe who has partially succeeded in muzzling independent voices in his own country is not happy that criticisms of his policies continue abroad.
He said information technology was dominated “by a few countries in the selfish interests of those countries which are in quest of global dominance and hegemony”.
