The Iraqi blogger Zeyad has an account (with photos) of an apparently successful anti-terrorism demonstration in Baghdad today. I was pleased to see that unions were among the participants, despite the still-unexplained US raid on a union office a few days ago.
Meanwhile I’ve phoned and emailed the Pentagon press office asking for their version of what happened. If I don’t hear anything in the next couple of days, I’ll contact my Congressman and Senators.
