The Israeli blogger Imshin notes that the reviled security fence quite possibly prevented two would-be suicide bombers from entering Israel and performing their murderous missions. One of them was headed to a middle school.
Yes, I sympathize with the Palestinians whose lives have been disrupted by the fence. But I have to balance that sympathy with my relief that some Israeli children are alive tonight who might otherwise have been blown to pieces.
